WINE BROWNIES
đˇ Decadent Red Wine Brownies â Because Chocolate + Wine = Pure Bliss
Whatâs better than sipping a glass of bold, Texas-grown red wine? Pouring some of it into fudgy, rich brownies that taste like indulgence itself. These brownies are deep, dark, and dangerously good, with a hint of fruitiness from the wine that makes the chocolate flavor pop. Bonus: You get to drink the rest of the bottle while they bake. đˇđ
Ingredients:
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (because butter makes everything better)
8 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cacao), chopped (the darker, the better)
ž cup granulated sugar
Âź cup brown sugar (for that chewy magic)
2 large eggs (because science)
1 tsp vanilla extract (always use the real stuff!)
½ cup dry red wine (go boldâthink Bar Z Tempranillo or Cabernet Sauvignon)
½ cup all-purpose flour (no need to overthink it)
Âź cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for extra chocolate oomph)
½ tsp baking powder (so they donât turn into chocolate bricks)
½ tsp salt (trust me, it makes the chocolate sing đś)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper. Grease it up like youâre about to impress guests.
Melt the butter and chocolate together until smooth. Use a double boiler or microwave in short bursts (donât burn itâchocolate deserves better).
Whisk in the sugars, then add the eggs, vanilla, and wine. The batter might look a little looseâdonât panic! Thatâs the wine working its magic.
Sift in the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined. No overmixing! We want fudgy, not cakey.
Pour into the pan and spread it evenly. Lick the spoon. You deserve it.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet, not dryâjust right).
